Parisa Khademi is dedicated to pursuing vindication on behalf of her clients who have been wronged by their employers. She understands that employees who face harmful, illegal conduct in the workplace need an advocate with expertise, gumption, and tenacity to protect them and prosecute their claims on the path to justice. And because the stakes in these cases are so personal, Parisa prides herself on bringing a human touch to representing her clients.
Parisa has extensive experience handling cases involving employees who have been discriminated against on account of a protected characteristic, those who have been retaliated against or harassed, and those whose employment has been wrongfully terminated. Parisa also has years of experience handling cases of wage theft as well as employers who systematically deny workers the ability to take legally compliant meal and rest breaks. Through her efforts, she has helped to secure millions of dollars in recovery on behalf of her clients.
Parisa also dedicates her practice to school bullying matters. She passionately advocates for children and their families when schools fail to implement safeguards to protect them, neglect to take their complaints seriously, and disbelieve the emotional and physical injuries they have suffered at the hands of either other students or school staff. As a mother to three school-age daughters, Parisa feels especially invested in ensuring that these clients feel genuinely heard and works tirelessly to ensure they gain the protection they have been denied and the justice they deserve.
Parisa understands what individuals face daily when dealing with large corporate and bureaucratic entities. Prior to representing individuals, Parisa spent fourteen years working at corporate law firms where she successfully defended businesses and corporations, big and small, in employment matters. Her years of defense experience give her a meaningful advantage, allowing her to anticipate her opponents’ next moves and develop effective strategies to advance her clients’ claims. Her experience working with demanding companies also enables her to provide the same level of diligent, white-glove service to her individual clients at Atticus Law Group.
Parisa is a native Angeleno, born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of California, Berkeley (Go Bears!) prior to returning to her hometown to attend Loyola Law School. At home, Parisa works tirelessly to convince her husband to watch the latest true crime docuseries. More importantly, Parisa devotes her time outside of work to wrangling her daughters and juggling their ever-changing interests and activities.
